| PHS/SHS Sequencer Replacement |
１．Purpose of early replacement
・Sequencer SYSMAC S6 (OMRON) mounted on PHS/SHS as standard equipment reaches its agreed maintenance contract expiry in March 2000. We therefore recommend early replacement of your SYSMAC S6 sequencer with CQM1H
・Please note that when failure in the sequencer occurs, resulting in shutdown of your machine, you need a lead time of two to three weeks for its hardware/software assembly.

・The replacement is based on the use of the same maker’s corresponding sequencer, ensuring highly reliable and short-time replacement operation.
・The replacement requires no more space than presently available for the sequencer mounting. (The sequencer replacement involves no other component movement, thus allowing the replacement work to be carried out in a short time.) |
| ３．Users’ merits of the replacement |
・The new sequencer ensures reduced sudden sequencer stoppage (due to its long service life), thereby allowing avoidance of frequent machine shutdown, productivity decline and delivery delay that otherwise occur.
・The total cost for early replacement of sequencer is lower than that for its replacement after its failure. |
