Photoelectric Safety Device Replacement

・OBS-1, even its latest issue, dates back to 20 years ago. The press has photoelectric safety device KES mounted on it, which has its production already discontinued with unavailability of any of its repair or replacement parts. We therefore recommend early replacement of your KES photoelectric safety device with its new counterpart RFS.

・Please note that when emergency-stopped as a result of KES failure, your press loses critical means of securing operator safety protection, bringing it into a stage of danger, or due to lack of replacement parts for repair of the safety device, requires its several-week shutdown.

・The replacement is based on the use of the same maker’s corresponding safety device, ensuring highly reliable and short-time replacement operation.

・The replacement requires no more space than presently available for the safety device mounting.
